 In this University of Virginia Program, Suzanne Fletcher, professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School, discusses the complications surrounding breast cancer screening, including how risk is defined, screening techniques and the social context of breast cancer.
Before surgery, Laura Duntley received chemotherapy for her HER2-positive breast cancer. By the time she had her operation, the cancer was completely gone from her breast. She now receives regular injections of an antibody to prevent a recurrence of cancer.  |
