This is the first time I’ve put anything on you tube….This is for the “Ellen Show” as a THANK YOU. This is my 9 year old daughter Katelyn. She is shaving her head with Cops for Cancer to raise awareness for cancer and her grandfather. In Feb 09 he got lung cancer, from ICU he watched you Ellen and tapped his toe while you danced…In Dec 09 he got brain cancer and watched you again from ICU, you were apart of his recovery daily. He thought your show has purpose. He loved watching your show. When I held him in my arms while he died last Monday, I told him we would keep trying to raise money for cancer so no one else would suffer. My daughter cried and said that her head shaving was for nothing…that it didn’t save her POPA. I told her, she gave someone a wig and with the 0.00 she raised… that would go toward finding a cure for cancer. So please except our thanks for helping my dad…with your wonderful show. Someday if you haven’t already maybe you can do a show on cancer and help to raise awarness…… Your friend Kim and family |

A video tribute to my mother, Denise Ronan who passed away July 28, 2010, shortly after her 75th birthday and a half a year shy of her 50th wedding anniversary. This is a brief story of her life told by her with images of many of the friends and family who enriched her life. Thank you all for your friendship to her and please forgive me if I did not include a photo of you here. Obituary is below. David Ronan 8/9/10 DENISE RONAN On July 28th, San Marcos resident Denise Ronan passed away after a short battle with bladder cancer in Brunswick, Maine. She was 75, and had been married almost 50 years. Born to Ginette Suares Shual and Adolph Shual in Cairo, Egypt, her first languages were French and Italian along with Arabic. However, her schooling, from earliest days, was in English-language schools. Over the many years of her career in education, she was known to most as a teacher of English and French. Denise’s spirits did not succumb to illness. For thirty years, she fought multiple sclerosis while remaining passionate about the arts, enjoying entertaining at home, teaching, traveling even in countries with minimal wheelchair accessibility, and otherwise invigorating and inspiring the lives of all her family, students, and acquaintances. Retiring in 2000 after years of teaching English at Texas State, she was recognized as one of that University’s pioneering women: the first female to conduct class from a wheelchair. Following her retirement, she remained active, serving on …
![]() Watch an interview with David I. Lee, MD, the Chief of Urology at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, and Assistant Professor of Urology at Penn Medicine. “My specialty is urology, but within urology I have a very narrow focus, which is minimally invasive prostate cancer surgery. And so I was lucky enough to be on the forefront of the experience with this technique and technology of robotic assistance surgery.” “I’ve done over 2200 of these robotic processes, technically operations, to date. This is one of the biggest experiences in the world with this procedure, and by far, the biggest experience in the local Philadelphia area.” “Experience really sets us apart at Penn Medicine. I think that’s the benefit to the patient, where we have clinicians who are very experienced at providing minimally invasive surgery for prostate cancer, for bladder cancer, for kidney cancer.” “What gives me the most satisfaction after having done all of these operations is the very smooth course that most of the patients go through. The patients very often comment to me that they had zero pain going through the whole procedure. I still find that very difficult to believe sometimes, but I’ve had so many patients tell me that, that I really do believe it now.” “I’m David Lee. I’m Chief of Urology at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, and Assistant Professor of Urology at Penn Medicine.” Learn more about Dr. Lee: www.pennmedicine.org To learn more, visit www.pennmedicine.org |

THIRD SINGLE FROM MONSTA I am seriously up to no good this time around. I have absolutely no idea how this came to mind. Seriously, a song about pancreatic cancer? I need to graduate, STAT. This song is a new direction for Monsta Productions. It is an attempt to broaden the fanbase. Much like DesiBack, this will likely only be the foundation of awesome nerdiness to come. This will be helpful to pathology students trying to remember some of the basics about pancreatic cancer. |
