Just a quick statement from me on the PurpleStride Puget Sound 2010 walk/run fundraiser in Seattle run by the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PanCAN) to raise money and awareness to conquer this disease.

jim who is a 5 time cancer survivor and who has sufferes with melanoma for 9 years IS FINALLY TOLD HE HAS NO SIGN OF CANCER AFTER THREE MONTHS OF DRINKING GREEN SMOOTHIES AND CHANGING HIS LIFESTYLE Jim went to JEFFERSON HOSPITAL YESTERDAY AND WAS TOLD THAT HIS MELANOMA CANCER ON THE LUNG HAS DISAPPEARED AND there was no Explanation for it JIM KNEW THAT THE REASON WAS THAT HE BEGAN DRINKING GREEN SMOOTHIES AND CHANGING HIS DIET
 Harvard Stem Cell Institute researchers at Children’s Hospital Boston have taken two important steps toward development of a new way of treating melanoma, the most virulent form of skin cancer. In two letters featured on the cover of this week’s edition of the journal Nature, the researchers, led by Leonard Zon, MD, report isolating a gene that hastens the growth of melanoma tumors, and using an already-approved drug, in combination with a drug now working its way through the federal Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approval process, to uncover new potential therapeutic targets in melanoma. |
